Let me begin this video by saying that I'm a huge coffee snob,
I really, really love coffee. And before I came to Korea I was worried,
am I gonna find any coffee shops in Korea?
Is there a big coffee shop culture? Well, I was really surprised:
there is a HUGE coffee shop culture. Unfortunately, there are a lot of corporate shops.
For example: Starbucks, Pascucci, Dunkin Donuts, Hollys Coffee, Tom & Toms, Cafe Bean and Tree.
The problem is that the coffee's actually, it's not very good.
The foam is a little bit flat, the espresso is burnt.
I was really, really disappointed. But, turns out, there are tons of amazing indie shops,
kind of like, diamond in the rough, that are hiding in your cities.
We absolutely recommend looking for these shops.
And one of our favorite shops is in Bucheon.
It's called Cafe Lua, and we want to take you to it. Let's go!

[ohhh yeah baby. Groove to that coffee shop music.]
[totally love those twinkling sounds]
So where do we begin with this place? I don't know,
because we just love it here so much. They have fantastic coffee here.
They're trained baristas here. They will never burn your espresso shots
and they will always give you perfect foam.
The also have delicious cocktails. I'm having a blueberry mojito.
They have lots of mojitos here, and I don't care if mojitos are girly drinks because they're delicious.
Martina has a Kahlua cocktail as well, and it's also fantastic.
Also, everything here is home made. They make their own batter for their own waffles,
and the waffles are some of the best that we've had in Korea as well.
Perhaps the best thing about this coffee shop is that it has a fantastic vibe.
It's so artsy, and so chill, and so relaxed, and we feel like
we can spend hours here working on videos or working on pictures,
or working on anything because we never want to leave this place.
We don't feel that it's all crowded and cramped like the big franchise coffee shops.
This is where we wanna go when we have our time off
and you should come here too, because it's awesome.
[more of that coffee shop music.]
[oooh more pretty twinkle sounds]
[kick it bass!]
[winding down music]
