I think when preparing to exit the contracts trusts need to consider three important activities.
The first of these is the repatriation of data, so the moving of data from the current
suppliers central data store to the local trust infrastructure.
After that, obviously, we need to reprocure a system and define our requirements. Understand
what we want, find someone that can provide that service for us and then implement the
system afterwards.
And finally we have a process called transitional assistance, which is the process of working
with the incumbent supplier to understand what requirements each trust needs to help
them exit in a smooth and orderly manner.
