Hi everyone! It’s Katie Humphrey and we’re here with Day 44 of 90 Days to Freedom. Everyday
for 90 days I’m giving you my personal tips and strategies that I used to holistically
reverse my symptoms with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). These tips and strategies
can really be applied to so many different areas of our life.
As with this week we’re learning all about the simple basic foundational principles of
nutrition. You can really use these basics and apply them in other areas of your life.
The discipline that it takes to start eating in a different way that’s not only gonna
change your body composition but really create preventative health lifestyle and that’s
what it’s really all about. It’s not about just weight lost. You have to be thinking
about the future and where your health is gonna be at. It’s the same thing with your
finances, your relationship, everything. If you don’t know where you’re going to be
five years from now, ten years from now, twenty years from now, that’s really what you should
be thinking of and not just here and now. Because when you think long term, the here
and now will take care of itself. You have to be willing to sacrifice and be disciplined
and make healthy positive changes so that you can have that future for yourself. This
week we’ve been basically talking about why you should be drinking more water, eating
every three to four hours and yesterday we talked about eating more protein. Again, I
just wanna state that I know a lot of people watch these videos and I can’t get around
the nutrition portion. I couldn’t in my book either. I love nutrition… what it has
done in my life, what it has done to my health. I absolutely love it. But talking about it
and teaching it isn’t exactly what I love doing just because it’s really complicated.
It hits a nerve with most people. People wanna argue with me about it. People wanna defend
their nutrition choices. I just wanna say I’m not here to be an authoritative figure
on nutrition. I’m here to share what I’ve done with nutrition. I’ve been studying
nutrition since 2002 so about 8 years now. I’m pretty well-versed on so many things
but I’m not here to be the cornerstone and the hub of nutrition and that figure on nutrition.
I’m just here to share with you what I have learned and what I have applied in my life.
I’ve shared it with people in my family, my clients and so many people around me and
when they start doing what I’m doing they get the same results. They feel healthy. They
feel tons of energy. They see so many amazing things. Not just happening in their physical
appearance but within their body. They feel differently in their moods and really just
with their immunity and vitality. So that’s what I’m here to share. If you don’t wanna
eat this way and you don’t agree with me, that’s fine. Do your own thing. It’s your
life. It’s your decision. I certainly don’t want to influence you in one way or the other.
I’m here to share
what worked for me.
