Hi I'm Cam. You may have seen me in the 40 second video Easy Restore.
Yup, that's the back my head. Version 1.1.2 of oneBackup SMB
was just released. It's a small update but includes these useful features.
Bandwidth throttling, mid-backup stopping
and a new desktop client that only notifies you
when there is an update. Now I'm going to show you bandwidth throttling.
Log into your oneBackup SMB's dashboard. Just click this gear here.
Now you can change the bandwidth you use for your backups.
Once done, click save. Use the same process to lift the
throttling but select no throttle. Next we willll look at it mid-backup stopping.
Once a backup is running you can now stop the job from running
by clicking the stop backup jobs button. Then confirm your decision.
This will stop all currently running backup jobs.
If you haven't already seen the update dialog box prompting you to update
oneBackup SMB
it will run the next time you start your computer. Once you're done
downloading, follow the on-screen update instructions. To speed this up
we already downloaded the new desktop client. Thats version 1.1.2
of oneBackup SMB
