hello everyone Michael here with the daily note 2 YouTube channel and welcome to another
episode so I'm still here in the US and I used this opportunity to by many peripherals
and accessories for the galaxy note 2 that is a little difficult for me to procure elsewhere
so today I want to show you the AA power pack by verbatim I guess I know this company from
making CD-R's and DVD-R's but I guess they make other stuff too
so what this is you put four batteries in here
and it becomes a USB charger you can put four AA batteries
and it says on the box you can put any four AA batteries
whether it be alkaline or the rechargeables 1.2V
and that's exactly what I have I have the eneloop these are 1900 to 2000
mAh 1.2 V AA eneloops and I'm just going to put those in here
and as you could see on this phone I have about 12% battery charge and on the box it
says 75% smartphone charge I always wanted one of these things because you sure having
a second battery seconds per battery with you or charger is
great but if it's not charged you still have to wait you have to find an outlet the great
thing about this is you can just carry this
you can just carry this somewhere and then he could just go to any
gas station buy batteries and it should work and you can use it while it's charging so
as in terms of it getting you out of a jam, I think this is kinda unique on what it's
capable of you don't need to have it charged and you
could literally get AA batteries anywhere at any given time in any hour of the day
so anyway have this on and it came with this cable to
it's a five pin micro-USB cable you can see when I turn it on...turn the switch on
it lights up there it just plugs in and I really like this cable
because it's small so I'm just going to turn this on and as you can see its charging
the standard galaxy note 2 charger is a 2 amp charger, this one is a 5v up to 1 amp
so it will take double the amount of time to charge. I just want to how high the percentage
will go. I'm just hoping maybe it will charge it to
full but we'll see what happens
just to make this more like a control test I'm going to turn off data and I'm going to
turn off Wi-Fi as well but maybe I'll leave the cell phone antenna on so anyway I'll be
back and see how it does okay so it's been a couple of hours
and I noticed that the red light, the charging like turned off here
and this was no longer lit even though this was on the on switch and it looks like it
charged it to about 66% or so from about 12% about 66% yeah I didn't come back to just-in-time
but anyway so there you go I think if you're looking for full charge for AA batteries
won't do it with this thing but what's good about it is that you don't have to have charged
batteries you can just go run out to 7/11 or whatever the convenience store is and just
get four batteries and you could start charging your phone and most importantly you could
start using your phone right away when it's charging
so I think this does add a bit of convenience its more for I guessemergencies use
so that's the end of today's episode and if you have any questions just leave a comment
and I'll be happy to answer them and if you haven't been to my my channel yet please check
