Use the S Beam feature on your Samsung Galaxy S III from Verizon Wireless
to share playlists, photos, videos, and much more with just one tap.
Watch this video to learn how.
To begin, you must have two S Beam devices.
Now tap Menu from any home screen.
Then tap Settings.
Under Wireless and network, select More settings.
Next turn on NFC by moving the slider to the right.
Once NFC is turned on, move the S Beam slider from off to on.
Once both devices have NFC and S Beam turned on
you are ready to share.
To do so, go to a photo, video, webpage
or other file you would like to share.
For this example, we will share a photo.
Press the Home button. Then select Apps.
Select Gallery.
Now find a photo that you want to share.
Once you've found the item you want to share
hold the back of your phone to the back of the other device.
When the devices connect, you will feel a vibration
and see "Touch to beam".
Tap the photo to send it to the other device.
You may now pull the devices apart.
Note that the first time it may take a few seconds
for the phones to connect.
On the other device, the photo will appear
when the transfer is complete.
