With our sponge we're going to wet the top of the piece; water go down equally on inside
and outside, and we're going to use pressure with our fingers on; on the inside left hand
and pressure with our fingers on the outside right hand, and a little bit more pressure
with the left hand making a slight curve to that V shape. Right hand pushing in to maintain
its stability; get to the top slowly take your hands away. So we want to set that curve
up as very shallow curve to begin with and then start at the very bottom; go back and
extend that curve a little bit more each time we pull up. Slower wheel speed will increase
the stability of the form and give you more control. You also periodically want to take
the water out of the bottom of the form and not let any standing water remain in the form
during the throwing operation.
