My name is Bob Coury and I’m in the insurance and employee benefits business. I do insurance
and employee benefits for South Florida professionals and I have done that for the past 36 years
- all of that here in South Florida. The insurance that I offer or provide to my clients is primarily
life, health, disability income, long-term care and annuities for both individuals as
well as groups. The difference between myself and many other companies that provide the
same type of business, I believe is the level of service and our goal in dealing with our
clients is to not only provide service but top quality products. In doing so, many times
the objective is to either better the benefits for the same premium, or to reduce the premium
for the same benefits that are offered - and that’s a goal and a challenge that we deal
with particularly in the group insurance level with each of our clients every year in going
to the market and looking about what the options are for them with each of the carriers that
provide products that we offer and, again, to provide the top service for each of those
clients. In addition to providing the services to the attorney or their law firm, we also
provide services to the attorney’s clients - many times in the form of key man insurance,
deferred compensation, buy-sell agreements, estate planning or retirement needs. Many
times that involves the use of or the requirement for insurance products, and we would bring
those products to the table on behalf of the attorney and the law firm.
