With only a week’s worth of food left and rising unemployment numbers, the Montgomery
County Food Bank warehouse is looking more like Old Mother Hubbard’s cupboards than an agency
that fed 4.5 million people last year
in July 22nd this article came out in the Conroe Courier and the title of it says
Hungry for Help
The Montgomery County Food Bank had less food than any other time in its history and we saw a pressing
need in the community and we decided
That we were going to try to fill the Montgomery County Food Bank. We knew that with you help we could try and
Break The Bank
for five weeks we came together as a church body from kids to youth to adults
We came together bringing food bringing money, bringing everything we could to try to fill the Montgomery County Food Bank
Thank you Ark Church y'all broke the bank This is the largest food drive we ever had by a church
And you are feed the hungry children and adults in Montgomery County this year
Thanks
With the support of the entire congregation
we came together and filled the Montgomery County Food Bank
We raised two hundred thousand pounds of food We broke the bank We did it
Thank You Ark Church
