Hi i'm susan o'malley with omalley tunstall if you suffer from migraines you might wonder
if you will qualifty for social security disability what social security is looking for is how
often your migraines happen do they happen often enough you would be disrupting a normal
work week. social security looks at a normal work week as 8 hours a day 5 days a week.
social security will look at the description of your headaches to your doctors in the medical
records also look at the types of treatment you and your doctor have tried and the outcome
of those treatments i would recommend keeping a diary of how often these migraines are happening
and sharing it with your doctor you can also use this diary later to prove how often your
migraines happen to social security to prove disability if you have any questions give
us a call at omalley tunstall
