In this video you’ll learn how to setup a tinnitus program
and apply all the required settings.
If you’d like to fit your patient with a tinnitus noiser,
go to “Program Handling“.
It’s advisable to set up a dedicated tinnitus program.
Click on “Fine Tuning”
and then “Tinnitus Function” in the side navigation.
You’ll find all the Tinnitus settings here.
The noiser function can be activated
and configured separately for each listening program.
When "Noise" is enabled, the hearing instrument will not
provide amplification for microphone signals.
Only the designated tinnitus noiser will be audible.
Activate the “Noise + Microphone” mode
to give your patient amplification
of the microphone signal as well as a tinnitus noiser.
The noiser signal can be adjusted in all available
hearing instrument channels
so that it suits your client’s needs.
You can also use a pre-defined setting
such as white, pink, speech or high tone noise.
Now switch to the “Configuration” view
and select “Hearing Instrument”.
If the hearing instrument has a rocker switch,
you can assign a tinnitus control
to this so the volume of the noiser can be adjusted if desired.
Select “Tinnitus control volume”.
If you enable “e2e wireless 2.0 coupling”,
changes will affect the hearing instruments of both ears.
Now switch to “Remote Controls”.
If you configure a “Tek Connect” remote control
for use with the hearing instrument,
the “SoundBalance” control will automatically act
as a volume control for the tinnitus noiser.
