Hello everyone! This is Chloe from KFoodAddict
Today we are going to make an interesting food
which is called 'Su-Je-Bi'
Nowadays,it's getting colder over here
so I want to have some food
which warm my body up
and this dish(Sujebi) is perfect for that!
Let's start!!
For making Su-Je-Bi, you will need
First of all, soak the clams in the water with some salt to remove some sand from it
leave it for few minutes
We can make the dough
so take a big bowl
pour in the flour and potato starch
Next add 1 Ts of salt
and 1 Ts of oil
Add some water little by little while stirring
You can use a folk or a spoon to stir
when it is sticky enough,
knead the dough with your hands
The reason we use potato starch and oil is
that it makes the dough more chewy and soft
Put the dough in the plastic bag
keep it in the fridge for 30minutes
Meanwhile,we can make the anchovy stock
We want the soup to be clear,
so remove the anchovy's head and black parts
And put them in the water
with this big dried kelp
and boil them for 10minutes
While it is boiling, prepare the vegetables
Cut the potato and the onion into big slices
and cut the other vegetables into thin slices
Once it is finished boiling, remove the anchovies and the kelp
Put the clams into the water
Once the clams have opened,
Put the potato, onion and carrot
Take the dough from the fridge
and knead it a little bit more
(Feels sooo good +_+)
Stretch the dough
then *** off pieces about the...
this size (approximately 5cm*5cm)
If you want to make it chewy, make it thicker
If you want to get the soft one, make it thinner
Also stir well as you do this
So finally, add the spring onion and the zucchini
And season with some salt
soy sauce
and crushed garlic
Stir all together
Then boil them for 5minutes
Now, it's finished!
Enjoy your Su-Je-Bi and Thanks You for watching!
