Step 1: Close all open programs and proceed to uninstall "Claro Toolbar' from your Control Panel.
To do this go to: 'Start' > 'Control Panel'.
Choose 'Programs and Features'
In the program list, find and remove/uninstall these applications:
a. Claro toolbar
b. Claro Chrome Toolbar
c. Browser Protect
Step 2: Close 'Programs and Features' and proceed to remove 'Babylon search' & 'Claro toolbar' using 'AdwCleaner' utility.
Open your internet browser and go to: http://www.wintips.org
Click on 'Tools & Resources' on the main menu.
Click to open 'AdwCleaner' download page.
Scroll down and click the "Click here to download AdwCleaner' link.
Scroll down again and click to download 'AdwCleaner' utility.
Save 'AdwCleaner' utility to your desktop.
When download is completed double click to run 'AdwCleaner' utility.
Ask 'Yes' at UAC warning.
Press 'Delete' at AdwCleaner's utility main window.
Close all open programs and choose 'OK' to continue.
Wait until removal operation is completed.
Press 'OK' when 'AdwCleaner information' window appears and press 'OK' again to restart your computer.
When your computer is restarted choose 'Run' at the security warning window to open 'adwcleaner.exe' again.
Step 3: Close information report and proceed to check if your browser settings are restored to their defaults.
Open Internet Explorer: should be clean.
Open Google Chrome and click on menu icon on top right and choose 'Settings'.
Find the 'On startup' section and choose 'Set Pages'.
Delete the 'babylon' from start up pages by pressing the 'X' symbol on the right.
Set your preferred startup page (e.g. http://www.google.com) and press 'OK'.
Then go to 'Search' section and choose 'Manage search engines'.
Choose your preferred default search engine (e.g. Google search) and press 'Make default'.
Then remove the 'Babylon search' engine and any other search engine that you don't want, by pressing the 'X' symbol at the right.
Press 'Done' when finish.
Restart Google Chrome for changes to take effect.
Open Mozilla Firefox: should be clean.
Keep in mind to always pay attention when you install a software for additional toolbars and extensions installed with it.
