...grow it. This way you give it your unique imprint.
You provide it with the pattern of your own life.
So that you can multiply it.
So that you can let it pass through.
There are three key notes
that apply to living life
as well as to dying.
First, let the energy flow through.
Let life flow though.
Free it up. Create the emptiness
because that's where you'll attain fulfillment.
Second, live it intensely,
in present tense.
Live it passionately. Give it all you got.
Do it with all your strength and energy.
With all your will. With all your love.
Love life.
And in the third place, life
has been given to you so you give it back.
He who doesn't serve in life, has a useless life.
To live, in human terms, is to serve.
And to serve is to create a bridge
between essence and existence.
We are made of flesh and time is our essence.
This that we see as our body
only represent time prints. Nothing more.
Space is the externalization of time.
Space and time are not separate.
Like the famous poet Jorge Luis Borges used to say:
Time is a tiger that devour us.
But we are that tiger.
Time is a fire that consumes us,
but we are that fire.
It's like the water that drowns you
and floods you. But that cannot happen
if you are the water.
You could know that you are
the flower you look at.
You could die to yourself
and to that feeling of separation.
And then know that when you look at the flower
you are creating it. For it's already within you,
and you re-create it.
You could recognize that the universe
is not divided into observers and the observed,
because the observer not only changes the observed
but also creates that which is observed.
You could recognize that at every instant
of our lives, when we really
enter into a relationship with something,
that something submerges us in
an ocean of reciprocities.
You could know that when I look
at you, you are in me
and a small bit of me is dying.
And I am in you and
a small bit of you is dying.
And in that look, we are.
And when we are in that process, we die
a little bit to that which we are.
And we are born to a new being.
You could recognize that
being born as well as dying
submerges us in a field of relationship
and that this filed of relationship is the
true religion of life. That this is
the field in which we reside.
You could recognize that we're not only
inhabitants in this body.
That we inhabit in our dreams.
That we inhabit in our hopes.
That we inhabit in our culture
and in our language.
You could also recognize that when
there's an attack, we all die a little bit.
And that when you learn the lesson,
we all learn it.
And when we shake hands and
get reconciled,
we all get reconciled.
We could die to the
original sin of separatism,
stop being our false entities
and convert ourselves into
the pattern of humanized relationships
that we really are.
Then we can start building new communities,
new societies, a new culture of relating.
We could die to death,
to then recognize that death
is the essence of life.
That it is the portal to life.
We could change our culture of fear
knowing that when we loose the fear
of dying and of losing life,
and of loosing pleasure
and power and the senses,
we can then be born to the
genuine sense of living.
And thus restore that sense
in our society and in our community.
You could recognize that we come to learn
and that all of us as human beings
have some lessons to learn,
regardless of our cultural and personal
differences.
So there's an apprentice in us.
That apprentice is an inner hero
and that inner hero is the soul.
And the soul passes through that
segment of consciousness
that we call the collective unconscious archetypes.
They are not those of the collective unconscious.
They're rather yours because you
also live in those archetypes.
And those archetypes precipitate into all
that you are, all that you belief
and all of that that you feel.
We could die to the not being
and be born to safety.
Safety is the priority need on this earth.
In all cultures, people,
before anything else, ask for safety.
But safety doesn't depend on armies
or armed forces. Safety is not external.
Safety is born in your heart
when you are prudent and
when you trust, and
when you have an inner faith
that has a stronghold in your heart.
We could die to all of our
false identities.
And tear down the ancient
idols. And get down from
where we are not. And
die once and for all
to the midget of our complexes
and the giant of our disquisitions.
And thus be born to what we are,
naked and authentic, and
be ourselves.
That is a second learning of the soul.
But for that you have to die.
The only way to conquer
a true human identity
is to renounce all false identities.
And not be.
We could die to this heroism
that keeps us isolated inside
a bunker of assumed safety,
which is a kind of comfortable sepulcher.
But no more nor less than a sepulcher.
And live to the limit
to that point where life hurts
and be born into responsibility.
And abandon the territory of
sensibilities and start to be responsible.
Responsible for ourselves.
So we have the capacity to answer
humanely from that which we are.
We could answer for ourselves.
For our life, for our death.
You could know that we're responsible
for everybody. We could know that
my feelings touch you, even
if I don't tell you. And that
you breath within that atmosphere.
That without a doubt my thoughts
touch your heart.
That my smallest thought traverses
to the end of the Universe.
That I am in resonance with the Universe.
Entering the world of responsibility,
that's another lesson that we come to learn.
We could learn to be authentic.
That's all. In other words, to be human.
That is to say, honest.
To think, to feel, to act,
in the same direction.
So we don't dissociate ourselves.
We could tell ourselves the truth. Truth is but one.
Then women would trust their partner.
And we would be born anew in each
day of a relationship.
And you would be new,
because love renews everything.
Our relationships would be like fresh water.
We could be born to power.
To the true power of human beings,
which is the power of just being.
We could take charge of the governance of our lives.
Of our territory. Of our economy.
To put our house in order.
To give God what is God's and to Cesar what is Cesar's.
To live spiritually in the matrix of matter.
To have the power of a global vision
while acting locally.
The power of seeing an integral world
and seeing reality.
We could be born to freedom.
Life is a song to freedom.
Death is the portal of freedom.
If we had no fear of freedom,
we would be more human.
But that freedom...
