[Music playing] Hey this is Ethan Bachinski, senior defensive
end. Just got done eating some breakfast, heading off to the locker room. We've got
a two-a-day today. We have a live scrimmage at the end of the second practice today so
this morning's gonna be a little bit lighter. Welcome to a day in the life.
Practice one's starting at 8 o'clock this morning. Today's focus is communication and
eliminating as many mistakes as possible. We've got two weeks till Hampton; we're ready
to rock.

Practice one went really well today. We split up with scout team and the scout team gave
us a good look today. It was a shorter practice this morning because this afternoon we're
doing some live work. Right now we're getting changed and showered up and get ready for
special teams or elite forces meeting at 11 o'clock.
[Music playing]
Just got done with our elite forces meeting - went over some field goal, field goal block,
all that good stuff. Headed off to lunch now, get some good food here in the cafeteria and
then got a little break for a little while.
[Music playing]
I'm here, going around at lunch time asking some guys some questions about everything.
Right now I'm here with Mason Howington. Mason, if you were a fruit, what would you be?
Probably...coconut. Amazing, wow.
Quenton, if you were a car, what would you be?
Probably a corvette. A corvette nice. Interesting choice. Okay.
Nate Bowman, your dream job would be? Working at a roller derby.
Working at a roller derby. Jimmy, if you had someone to play you in a
movie, a famous actor, who would it be besides myself?
Young Arnold. Young Arnold Schwarzeneger, yes.
That was lunch, there's some great food here at the cafeteria. We have some downtime now
before meetings at 2:30 so I'll see you later. It's 2:10, it's time for some position meetings,
so here we are entering Stipes Hall.
[Music playing]
Since you last saw me, I took a nap, had some position meetings, got ready for practice.
Now we've got practice two of the day coming up, got some live work coming up here in a
little bit. It's 3:30 in the afternoon.
[Music playing]
Ethan, what'd you think about today's live scrimmage work?
I feel like we definitely learned some things. We were a little too enthusiastic at times,
just getting a little bit too intense and causing some stupid penalties but I feel we'll
definitely learn from today.
Overall, how would you grade your performance?
You can always do better. I feel I did alright, but you can always do better than you did.
[Music playing]
It's 8:40 at night right now. We just got done with our meetings. Thanks for hanging
out with me today, for our final two-a-day of the 2013 preseason. We look forward to
seeing you this fall here at Hanson Field.
My name is Ethan Bachinski from Milton, Wisconsin. I'm a senior, I'd like to give a shoutout
to the defensive line.
