Here's my really simple recipe for home made Cranberry Sauce. It has only
3 ingredients and it's really simple to make - in just 60 seconds.
For the ingredients all you'll need are 250 grams
of Cranberries, 125ml of Orange Juice and 150 grams
worth of Sugar. Start off by pouring the Sugar and Orange Juice into a small saucepan.
Heat gently, making sure nothing burns and stir with a wooden spoon until the
mixture begins to thicken
and it starts to bubble.
Now it's time to throw in the Cranberries then stir again with a wooden
spoon until it's all combined with the Orange and Sugar syrup.
Bring the mixture to a simmering point and then leave it for about 10 minutes -
keeping an eye on it, making sure you stir it half way between.
After 10 minutes, take the sauce off the heat, give it a stir
and then leave it to cool. As the mixture does cool,
it'll begin to thicken into a nice cranberry jelly sauce.
And it really is as simple as that. Cranberry Sauce is great to have on the table
at Christmas especially if it's home made.
