I remember when I first came to Austin
I was surprised to see our church of 100 or so members
could have an orchestra and a choir.
Around 40-50 people served in the area of music.
It is really hard to imagine that
such a small church has so much music talents.
When building the church, the orchestra travelled for
fund-raising and shared the Gospel with people.
One year when Synod of the Sun held a minority conference
we were invited to perform with a Houston church.
What an experience!
I would love to say that these people are geniuses.
In addition to playing instruments,
they are capable of acting, dancing and play-writing.
One year the whole church worked together
to perform our own musical.
We revised music by other people into an orchestra music.
We did everything by ourselves such as acting, dancing,
putting on make-ups and making props.
Many Taiwanese friends were invited to watch the musical.
All the seats were taken that night.
Many of the audience were moved by the show.
Glory to God!
