Must. Not. Sing. That. Song.
The final countdown is indeed a song, but it's also a great application for your android
device.
As the app suggests, it counts down time. But the style in which it does and the simple,
yet comprehensive, options available to you are what sets it apart from anything else.
From the main screen you can add a new countdown and do all the following: name the countdown,
set a minute, hour, date, month and year of the countdown. You can set the countdown to
reoccur and you can also set a countdown reminder before the final countdown up to two days
in advance of it.
So if somebody's birthday is coming up, you can set a reminder to occur just before it.
You can also choose the alarm noise so you can more or less do anything you want.
But, of course, the best bit of any countdown timer is choosing the skin. There are plenty
of default ones available to choose from as you can see here and they all look great.
You can even create your own skin by adjusting the colour palette of the digits, background
and border.
And then you can take those countdowns outside of the application and use them as widgets
on the homescreen. There are two sizes available, a 2x1 or 4x1 widget sizes and the skin retains
the properties you choose. So within the application Final Countdown will display the countdowns
in chronological order with the soonest first. As for the widgets, well you can do this.
Ohhh, I've got a few seconds left....
