The Philips AirFryer review. Is this the best air fryer for healthier fried
foods with less hassle than deep fat frying while giving a fantastic taste?
The Philips AirFryer is a sleek stylish air fryer that would be a great addition to any
kitchen. And this air fryer gets a massive users rating
of 4.5 out of 5 on Amazon. Features of the Philips AirFryer.
It will cooks chips with up to 80% less fat yet they still have fantastic taste.
It has a patented "Rapid Air" technology that combines fast-circulating hot air with a grill
for fast healthy cooking. there is a built in air filter resulting reduced
frying smell and vapours than traditional frying method.
The removable parts are dish washer safe easy to clean. When finished just pop the frying
draw and tray in the dishwasher ready for the next day.
You can adjust the temperature using the temperature control pre-set. The temperatures range up
to 200 degrees, to cook your food to your personal taste, colour and crispiness
A timer will let you pre-set cooking times of up to 30 minutes. Just set the Philips
airfryer going and leave it to cook. And when the timer finishes it turns the fryer
off and "dings" a ready sound. No danger of it over heating unlike a chip pan that could
cause fires. there is a recipe booklet contains 30 delicious,
easy-to-prepare recipes and is packed with tips and tricks. You find out that the air
fryer can cook much more than just chips. Included in this recipe book are home-made
chicken nuggets, fish cakes, tapas, quiche and lot more.
There are even Air fryer cook books on Amazon now, just proving how versatile the Philips
airfryer really is. A divider in the tray means that more than
one type of food can be cooked at the same time reducing cooking times overall.
It comes with a 2 year guarantee which is pretty amazing nowadays.
and there are two colours to chose from Black or white.
Concerns I've found of the Philips airfryer The food does tend to stick together while
it's cooking so it has to be shaken half way through the cook cycle. This is no biggie
but you can't really leave your air fryer to just cook and then come back to it and
everything is done. Unlike other air fryers it doesn't have a
stirrer incorporated in the design, but reading reviews of other air fryers with these stirrers
in they can mash your food while cooking. You do have to add a touch of oil to homemade
chips about half a tea spoon, however one user says that a spray of 1cal oil cooks chips
perfectly, so it's still a healthy option. And finally it does have a fan init while
it is cooking and this does make a bit noise but it's not that loud.
Conclusion. the Philips air fryer is a stylish healthy
alternative to the chip pan. Also in taste tests it does produce the better
chips than other brands of air fryers So it's a great buy.
