Hey Cookaholics, chef Kendra here and today we're making shrimp nachos. Super easy to
put together and the cool thing is they're delicious. We're going to take some creamy
sauce and then we're going toss the whole thing with some tasty shrimp. So let's do
what we do and head into the kitchen and make it happen.
We've got our stuff all our stuff out and ready for us. So the first thing dice some
tomato, I've already diced some onion so we're good to go there, then we're going to chop
some cilantro, and jalapenos.
We took some cleaned shrimp with the tails removed and added them so some boiling water,
just until they turn pink, guys. Now we're going to remove it with a slotted spoon and
set these boys aside.
We're adding our diced tomatoes to our purple bowl. Our cilantro goes in next. Now our jalapenos
get tossed in just like so. We're going to add some onions I diced off camera. Now for
a little salt and finally a few twist of black pepper and mix it well. I know what ya'll
thinking. Where's the lime juice, Chef? Maybe you're not thinking that. Anyway, I don't
like just with this cheese sauce. But if you want to add some it's your kitchen, do what
you want.
Add the cheeses and the sour cream to a pot under medium low and stir ingredients until
melted and smooth. That's all it is to it. Just pour that creamy, cheesy goodness all
over some tortilla chips, and the salsa and shrimp and then a little more cheese sauce,
then go impress your friends and family with you mad cooking skills. By the way, you can
use grilled or broiled shrimp if you want.
