Hi, I'm Susan Paxton for Expert Village and today we're talking about potpourri and some
of its uses. Sometimes I like to just take potpourri and just put it in a bowl and let
it sit out in the room. You can use all kinds of bowls. Even a little pot would work. If
you want to keep it really fresh, you can either put it in a zip-lock bag or you can
put it in a canning jar and just close it up. You don't have to process it or anything.
But as long as the jar is sealed, even a mayonnaise jar would work. So, but that is how you would
keep it fresh but if you want to use it throughout your room it works really well in any kind
of bowl or any kind of pot to just have some sitting around so that your whole house, the
fragrance takes over your whole house. You can even use a saucer or a plate of some sort,
cereal bowl, anything like that just to have it sitting around in your rooms and it adds
its beautiful fragrance to your rooms and gives you the ability to use the potpourri
all the time.
