Hiisi Suite 1.6.3: Connecting a N95 to LAN via bluetooth (only http protocols)
Hiisi Suite is a HTTP proxy server suite for mobile phone and PC that enables MIDP capable mobile phone to connect to LAN via bluetooth. Hiisi Proxy (for mobile) and Pihatonttu Proxy (for PC). Hiisi Suite is a freeware
Attention! Next I will show the settings I used to make Hiisi works. Different mobile phones/bluetooth dongles/operational systems can lead to different results from the demonstrated here
1. PC with internet access: OS - Win XP SP3; internet - ADSL 2Mb
2. Dongle bluetooth: manufacturer - Cambridge Silicon Radio; specification: v. 1.1, rev. 175
3. Mobile phone: Nokia N95 RM-159, firmware 30.0.015
First of all, download the needed files in 4shared
Type pacote.hiisi.plus.rar
Download from here
Unrar que downloaded file
Install Bluesoleil in your PC (setup.exe inside folder Pacote.Hiisi.plus\IVT BlueSoleil Mobile v6.0 Build 227.0\IVT_Corporation-Bluesoleil)
Click in setup.exe
Finished Bluesoleil instalation, do not restart PC
Go to the folder Pacote.Hiisi.plus\IVT Bluesoleil Mobile v6.0 Build 227.0
Copy the patch.exe to C:ProgramFiles\IVT Corporation\BlueSoleil
Double click in patch.exe inside BlueSoleil folder
Restart PC
Connect your bluetooth dongle in a USB port and the drivers will be automatically installed
Led turns on when connected
Drivers are being installed
Bluetooth icon turns into blue when dongle is recognized
To start Bluesolei, right-click and select display classic view
Finished Bluesoleil installation, check if you have Java Runtime Environment installed in your PC
Type java -version (space between java and hyphen), click enter
Your Java RE version (if you don't have it, install it running jre-6u11-windows-i586-p.exe)
Java RE installation (for those who don't have Java or have a version older than 1.6.0_11 - the last one)
Hiisi Proxy installation
Copy from folder Pacote.Hiisi.plus\Hiisi1.6.3\Hiisi\bin the files Hiisi.jar and Hiisi.jad to the microSD connecting N95 in data transfer mode
Finish Hiisi Proxy installation in N95
Open X-plore
Install Hiisi.jad (it is not the jar file!)
Install in the memory card or internal memory
Create and configure the new access point BT in N95
Go to options, advanced settings
Turn on bluetooth in N95
Pairing PC with N95
Open Bluesoleil
Righ-click and search N95
Search N95 services
Right-click, pair PC with N95
Type in PC a password (ex. 123)
Type the same password (123) in N95
Set PC connection with N95 as authorized
Copy the numbers of bluetooth serial ports (COM)
In authorization, copy the number of the bluetooth serial ports (COM 4 and 5, in this case)
Edit and run Pihatonttu.cmd (folder Pacote.Hiisi.plus\Hiisi1.6.3\Pihatonttu)
Right-click and edit Pihatonttu.cmd
Edit in the notepad the COM port (it is written COM7, change to one of the numbers you copied: 4 or 5 - I "guessed" it's 5)
Now run Pihatonttu.cmd edited
This window will be opened
Open and configure Hiisi Proxy in N95 (turn on bluetooth previously)
Choose bluetooth mode
N95 searching for PC
Select the first option
Go to options, setting
Check the COM number: if it does not match the one used by Pihatonttu.cmd, go back and edit the file with the COM number that appears here
Check this option
Ready to go!
Without closing Hiisi Proxy, click menu and open the native browser of N95
While you browse in N95, the visited addresses appear in the Pihatonttu window in PC
When you have finished browsing, close Hiisi in N95 and Pihatonttu in PC (right-click the icon in system tray, quit)
