I am quickly going to show you the end user experience for our Workflow products.
Basically, our Workflow product allows you to build forms and publish those forms in
a SharePoint. What we are seeing here is a SharePoint site, where we have enabled our
Workflow template, and out of the box, it comes with a number of web parts. So first
and foremost we have the form library web part, which is the one you see on top here,
and in here you basically have a whole library of forms that are processes that the user
can initiate from. Underneath here, we will see any existing processes that are currently
running. Then here, we have another web part, which is basically an aggregated task list
of all the different tasks that are currently assigned to me in different processes that
I am currently participating in. You will see that I have got a leave request that is
pending my approval. I have also got a customer address update that are pending; I need to
go in and process it. We have got the actual task names out there. This third web part
is also an aggregated list of all the different processes that are running on this current
site. It will also aggregate processes for the sub-sites, and you can see here which
site the processes are from. What I am going to do now just waltz through one of these
just so you can get a feel for what the user experience is. Let us say I want to go in
and initiate a process to update a customer master. We have created a very simple process
for just updating the address on the customer called customer master. We actually have a
form in here called Update Customer Address. I will go in and initiate that form. What
I will get is basically a simple form that will allow me to go in and retrieve the details
of an existing customer, so I will basically look that up. This is wired up to SAP, and
it is going to look up the current address details of a customer. Then what I can do,
once I have retrieved the current details, I can copy those details across and basically
make my edits to it. This is just the way that we fill this form. I will now do some
edits to this form. Let us say that the address had the wrong postal code, so I will go in
and correct that. We also have a Validate button that actually allows me to validate
those details against SAP. This is basically just running the transaction without committing
it to the SAP database, so we still get the response back from SAP. Basically, what we
are seeing is that SAP validated this data and there were no errors with it. Once I have
done that, I can submit that. The use case here is basically for anyone to go in and
update a customer address, and then after that it is going to be sent to the Master
Data Team for actual processing. I have now updated the customer address. In this Workflow
demo, I'm playing the roles from different people involved in this workflow, so I will
get all the tasks. In a real world scenario, you obviously have different people involved
in the different roles. In this case, I will also get the next task in the Workflow, where
I have to go in and review those changes, and then process them into SAP. By clicking
on the actual task, I get a form. I get this same form, but I get a different view of the
same form. Basically in this different view, I also have the option of updating this into
SAP. By clicking that button, it is now actually posting this address updated into SAP, and
we should get a response back basically saying that the changes have been committed. I can
then also put in some comments just for the history, and then basically close down the
form, and that completes the process. For any of these processes, you can always click
on the ones that are currently running or have been completed, and you can see the entire
history for any purposes. You can see this is when the customer address update was initially
requested, who requested it. You can see when it was approved and processed into SAP and
who did it, and so forth. This is really just a very simple demo of the user experience
of the Workflow product from Winshuttle. Thank you for your time. h1*6 :p1*6 [Content_Types].xml
