this brings us to the last step where we will need to create the border
in SolidWorks this will be very easy to do
since I'll be able to quickly snap to sketch geometry I created earlier
but I could even save more time
by using tools like convert entities and offset entities
these will allow me to either make an identical copy geometry I made earlier
or even copy geometry at whatever offset distance I want
and with that
we've completed all 23 steps to make the shape of this flag
all that's left is for us to fill it in and add some color
Using SolidWorks this can be done in no time at all
to fill in the empty space simply create two planar surfaces
one for the border and one for the area inside the boarder
we will then use the split line command to split this area inside the border
to the three separate faces we'll need start with a new sketch
and use the convert entities tool to copy only the lines you need
to create the outline of both the moon and the Sun
just the small sliver of the line will need to be trimmed away to create
the moon
and by following the very last step we'll color the border dark blue
the area inside the border red and both the sun
and the moon white
and there you have it the flag of Nepal the only non quadrilateral flag
created in SolidWorks done by following each of the steps outlined
in Nepal's Constitution a project like this
is a great opportunity for anyone to really practice and refine the skills needed
to pass the CSWP exam
throughout the entire process there was no need for any sort of dimensions
nothing more than geometric relations making every single entity
related to the very first line you drew making this
the most mathematical flag in the world
