Hey guys today I have a tutorial on how to edit any website.
I will be using the Google Chrome browser, and I recommend you use it too.
It's free to download, and it's better than any other crap of a web browser, so let's get started.
Here I'm at Apple's website on the iPhone 5.
All you have to do to edit the website is right-click on what you want to edit.
I want to edit this price.
I will right click, go down to inspect element, and here you will have it selected.
You can change this to say...$999.
Then press enter, and it will change on the web page.
Close it. You can now the 16GB iPhone costs $999.
Then we can do the same thing for this one, but change it to say...$5000.
Just press enter.
And now, it costs $5000.
This is a cool way to trick people like when you want to show them how much the iPhone costs (or something similar)
Another thing you can do, you can change images such as this one.
It's a picture, so right-click, inspect element, and it will automatically select this thing which is right here.
You don't want to click that because it's going to go into this thing, which has all the images of the site.
But go back to this.
Double-click somewhere on it, and then just highlight everything inside the quotes.
I looked up a picutre of Osama Bin Laden.
I go to view original image, and then I copy and paste this link.
Go here and select the image link.
It will be inside the quotes of src="".
Then CTRL + V for the Google image one, and then press enter.
You will see that on the webpage, it now changed to the picture.
So that is a cool way to trick your friends or anybody else...just edit anything on the website.
If you refresh the page, it will all go back to normal.
Another fun thing to do is to edit the links on pages.
Like this "features" link, you would right-click, inspect element, and it would have the link here.
Go to one of these sites or anything else you want, copy the link, and then in the href=""
You want to highlight everything inside the quotes, paste your link, and then press enter.
Close this, and see, if you have this open for somebody, and they're going to go to the features,
you'll see in the bottom left-hand corner that it's a different website.
You know, it looks like a regular website, someone is here and they click this.
Aha!
That's just another fun way to trick people and mess with people by editing a website.
