What are you going to cook for us today? Dal Makhani
Dal Makhani is a north Indian dish served with roti or chapathi
Ingredients required for Dal Makhani
Red Kidney Beans, Black Lentils, Green Chillies, Garlic, Tomato Puree, Ginger, Garam Masala, Salt, Coriander Leaves & Butter
First, soak two cups of black lentils and one cup of red kidney beans in water and let it stay overnight
Now boil the soaked black lentils and red kidney beans with some ground green chillies and ginger
Heat two spoons of butter in a pan
Now take five tomatoes, grind them and make some puree out of it
Now add the tomato puree into the pan
Now let it boil for some time
Add some salt and garam masala into the pan & mix well
Add one spoon of red chilli powder into the pan & mix well
Add some ground ginger into the pan
Let it cook for a while
Now add the boiled red kidney beans and black lentils into the pan & mix well
Now let it cook for 10 minutes
Now take the Dal Makhani into a serving bowl
Now top the dish with some cream and coriander leaves
