Hello, my name is Denise Robinson and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how
to create a decorative pillow. We just cut the fabric for the face of our pillow, I'm
going to put that aside right now. I'm going to take my rope and cut that to the size of
what I want, what I had in mind for this I, just regular button loops. I'm going to pin
it to the back of the fabric which is going to fold over and then hook to the button that
faces to the top of the pillow. That is going to be lubricated on all four sides, when you
are working with rope or just string or anything like that you want to make sure that you secure
the ends. So they won't unravel you can just take a piece of tape, cut a small pieces and
just wrap it around and that will secure from unraveling. Take my ruler and measure out
four inches, now of course the button size is not that big if you look it's about an
inch in a half across. But I want to have enough for it to tack to the back and come
over and then attach to the button. So I'm just going to allow myself four inches for
the rope and double it, so let's move on.
