The Femiscope is women friendly, it is ergonomically designed, the disposable has an anatomical
design and provides a large and clear field of view. The disposable spreads out once in
the ***. It supports the pelvic floor because it is rounded just where it needs to be. The
Femiscope is registered medical product. The Femiscope de Luxe consists of a durable handle
with build in lighting and charger. The rechargeable battery provides power for several hours.
It does not have to be used with a gynaecological chair for example at the surgery or at the
patients home. The Femiscope Basic does not have a light.
The disposables are made of a type of plastic that is approved for medical use. This plastic
does not harm the environment. With the disposable closed, you press the edges slightly inwards
with two fingers and then take it off or put it in place. To open the speculum you press
the small finger grip inwards a little. That can be done by moving it a few millimetres.
This action releases it, then you use the large finger grip to set the disposable as
far open as necessary. You then releases the small finger grip locking the single blade
in place. Once the speculum has been placed in the body and opened, you can remove the
handle by pressing the edges inwards and moving the handle off the disposable.
To put the handle back in place press the large finger grip far enough that the top
of the grip falls into the push bar. You close the speculum by unlocking it with the small
finger grip. You hold back the large finger grip and the spring mechanism will allow the
device to close by itself. Apply a lubricant to the speculum body before use. You align
the Femi scope vertically to insert it and your wrist should be relaxed. Briefly you
will feel a slight resistance. At that moment give the pelvic floor a little time to relax.
Here you can see the exo *** and you can see how the *** walls are held beside.
If you cannot see the exocervix, or cannot see it well enough, then you should first
close the speculum, then rotate the speculum from zero to hundred and eighty degrees. The
anatomical shape of the speculum allows you to do this. Only the Femi scope can be rotated
without causing pain or discomfort.
Once the speculum is correctly positioned you can remove the handle. The speculum can
be removed using the handle. Removing it without the handle is done by tilting the edge. The
disposable can then no longer be used. Do not forget the lubricant. The Femi scope is
a particularly comfortable instrument also when used for taking a smear
After insertion you position the exocervix on the blade. The Femi scope de Luxe has the
zero and a hundred and eighty degrees, depending of the positioning of the exocervix. The ***
does not feel any tension or stress on her pelvic floor or ***. The speculum fits naturally
woman determines what happens. The speculum does not cause any stress at all on the pelvic
