The mission of Silent Blessings is to help bring spiritual healing to Deaf
people and their families.
Although we're a small ministry, we do a lot of things to carry out that mission.
We advocate for greater outreach to the Deaf community through church
presentations, printed resources, a public service radio campaign called "Think With Me"
and interviews on "Focus on the Family" and other national and regional media outlets.
We educate to equip and to prepare leaders for Deaf ministry
We offer seminars and workshops and Deaf awareness weekends. We recently
helped two congregations in Ohio and Indiana launch new deaf ministries and
we're in continual consultation with churches who seek out our help.
And of course we create ministry resources in American Sign Language for
families . . .
churches . . .
and especially . . .
for children,
because they are among the most spiritually isolated people on earth.
We're in the final stages now of editing the fourth season of our national TV
series "Doctor Wonder's Workshop," this year in high definition.
