In-the-Ear hearing aids, also called I-T-E, are the latest discreet option for those with
hearing loss. Technology has allowed hearing aids to become smaller while still packing
in great performance.
Siemens makes several I-T-E options, including the Eclipse and the Nitro.
Eclipse is made for those with mild to moderate hearing loss. It is basically invisible because
of its completely in canal fit. It is placed deeply in your ear, making it one of the most
discreet hearing aids on the market.
Of course, there is more to consider than just appearance.
With a hearing aid fitted deeply into your ear, it needs to be comfortable. Fortunately,
the Eclipse is designed with a comfortable soft dome on the end. With the aid this close
to your eardrum, sound has the shortest possible distance to travel. Feedback Stopper works
to eliminate feedback noises from your aid. Speech and Noise Management work to give sound
clarity in noisy situations. E-Windscreen allows you to continue all outdoor activities
by automatically suppressing the effects of wind on your hearing aids.
Nitro hearing aids come in all I-T-E options and are made for someone with severe hearing
loss.
Nitro will automatically switch programs to suit your listening environment, giving you
the freedom to live your life without pause. Similar to Eclipse, Nitro has Windscreen technology,
allowing you to continue all of your favorite outdoor activities without being interrupted
by wind noise. Each model comes with either directional or omnidirectional microphones.
The Nitro can be wirelessly connected with your favorite devices using the miniTek Bluetooth
Remote and Streamer. You can easily connect to your TV, phone, and MP-three player.
If you are looking for a discreet, nearly invisible, and powerful hearing aid, consider
Siemens Eclipse or Nitro. Contact your local audiologist to schedule your hearing test.
Once you know your level of hearing loss, your audiologist can help you find the right
hearing aid to help you hear well.
