Why going on Erasmus?
I was going to talk about the Erasmus program
which facilitates mobility between European countries
and starting now in youth age and also adult persons with stabilized life
and start since the youth having this conscious
of the importance of knowing other cultures
and other countries of Europe.
Does going in Erasmus influence the european consciousness?
I also think that the simple fact of desiring Erasmus its because previously we had european conscious
otherwise, we wouldn't go.
Do the media influence the way you think the student mobility?
on the other hand i think that the media also have lots of relevance
in this new mentality.
If we gonna see, a few years ago
nobody wanted to go in Erasmus it only gone the worst students for
and actually its the opposite, its the better students that are strengthen to obtain
the better degrees to go to where they want.
Migration

What motivates people to emigrate?
Portugal, thanks to its position in the European Union,
has some advantages because
the multi-national companies
are located here
and might provide jobs everywhere in the European Union.
There's the connection... If you were out the European Union
you wouldn't have this oportunity.
I guess I still have a lot to do in Portugal.
If it's not possible,
if i do not have a place here, then I'm going beyond borders.
There are a lot of factors that
may influence my decision.
In fact, I really want to discover
and emigrate is a possibility.
On the other and I want to help my country
improving because, if my generation wouldn't do it,
then we will get even worse. That's why I think that we should get together and think on some new ways of helping Portugal.
Emigrating is an assumption that I profissionaly aspire,
for the international prestige.
It's the ambition of improving and do more beyond borders...
The simple challenge gets harder in the international context.
Professionaly, it is more ambitious if you try to get know beyond borders.
If we are in Portugal, and if we want some prestige,
we have to work a lot harder to be know outside.
To get prestige we have to be really good.
Emigrate? Maybe...
I've never thought about that before.
Probably I would go but it would not be something permanet, for sure. But i would take a chance on that.
Do you think that being part of the E.U increased your opportunities of training and employment?
