Cloud Essentials courseware is available from Element K. Let's take a look at it.
Hi. I'm Ron Hogue.
I went to ElementKCourseware.com and saw that I could get the Cloud Essentials e-Courseware knowledge pack for a little over $30.
After a few minutes, they e-mailed me the link that I needed. I went to YourLearningHub.com which is Element K's online learning,
and I found that I had access to two eBooks. The first is Flash-based and the second is a text- based version.
I had to admit the Flash-based one is pretty slick. It has the table of contents on the left that allows you to navigate
or you can double click on the upper right hand corner to turn pages and just flip through the book that way. The text-based one is just that.
On the left hand side there's a navigation and on the right, you have just a regular text-based eBook.
Overall impressions? First, the good stuff. The price, $32 is fantastic. They have the best graphics of any of the eLearning I've seen.
They're available within minutes. You get an email with a registration code. And you can add the book for another $2 + $6 for shipping.
On the other side, you only get the book. There's no online training or eLearning; it's book only.
You have to have Internet access in order to be able to get to the eBook.
It was designed for Instructor-led training. It wasn't designed to stand on its own, though it can.
So can you pass the exam by reading this one book? You can. It has all the content you need to pass it, but you'll probably do better if you use it
as supplemental material for an online course that you take or a face-to-face course.
Hey if this is good stuff, Like it, Tweet it, Subscribe it, and Share it. I'm Ron Hogue. I'll see you in the next video.
