Hi there, I'm Erin from Mozilla.
As you might know, Mozilla is committed to innovating on the Web for the growing number
of Android users, the idea is to provide a faster, safer and better web browsing experience.
Firefox for Android is incredibly fast. To help you get on your way even faster, we've
implemented some great features like the NEW Home.
It predicts what you're typing so it's obvious where you need to go before you even finish
typing your thought. The new Firefox home screen also allows you
to set thumbnails. It starts from the moment you launch Firefox, open a new tab or tap
the URL bar so you can reach your most visited sites on a single click, no typing required!
Many Firefox users are great multitasker, so it lets you load other pages on other tabs
without leaving your browser.
The mobile user experience is at the heart and soul of how we have designed our mobile
browser for Android so we have several features to make firefox for android the most intuitive
browser out there.
Let me show you the Reader on this Samsung 10 inch tablet.
Let's say you discover interesting content on your favorite blog, you can save it for
later and read it when you find the time. Our reader makes it easy for you to adjust
the type and size of fonts you find to be the most legible. And this is my favorite,
you can adjust the background to light or dark depending on where you are.
We also have Firefox Sync which allows you to sync over your history, bookmarks, and
passwords so you can have a seamless experience from your desktop to your Android mobile device.
Start shopping for that perfect gift on your desktop and then finish on your Android while
on the train ride home.
Lot's of people like to share sites, articles and information with their friends and family
right from their mobile phone or tablet, so we made sharing as easy as possible using
Quick share. Firefox remembers your favorite method of sharing whether it be via email
or a social network so you can share faster.
If you have another friend with a NFC-enabled device, we've made it even easier to share.
All you have to do is place the back of your phone to the back of your friend's device
and the sharing is done.
With Firefox, we have hundreds of add ons from our community of devoted developers which
you can use to customize your browser. I recommend this one that users love, Adblock Plus blocks
any unwanted ads coming between me and my favorite content.
We also have hundreds of themes so I can personalize my Firefox to match my mood.
At Firefox we want your mobile browsing experience to be as secure as your desktop.
Private browsing is a great way to access pages that you don't want stored or saved
on your browser history, like when you visit your bank account or are shopping for that
perfect gift!
You can also do private browsing per tab and you can have both normal and private browsing
pages within the same single session. Private browsing doesn't store your history or cookies.
Firefox was the first Mobile Browser to support Do Not Track. It's important for us to help
users control who gets access to their data. Users can alto choose how to handle cookies.
Firefox for Android is made by a global community of Mozillians working to ensure the success
of the open Web.
And that's it for our demo, I hope you enjoy using Firefox for Android as much as I do.
Thanks for watching.
