I do believe in God. I'm not sure if it's in the true biblical sense, or if it lines up with any religion.
God is kind of like everywhere, a little bit inside all of us.
Talking about those sparks of light and how they get collected back, and in essence each person has a little piece of that spark inside of them. Pretty much everything does.
So, maybe in many ways or contemporary ways, like people refer to as the universe could be similar to what I would maybe refer to as God.
More than just omniscient, just like part of everything.
Maybe of the best things I learned taking a Derech Torah class was that don't take the Bible too literally and you can kind of discover some meaning in it.
So, ever since I've had that token to give me a new way to think about things, I've kind of realized what God means to me. It's kind of like that. It's a spark that's everywhere.
I've never had any proof or non-proof that God exists.
It's kind of a convenient way to kind of explain the unexplainable, but there's definitely something there that is bigger than we are and comes from something.
I guess that's what God is to me. Our stories, our history, being the chosen - it's all allegory for something that just can't be explained.
It's for a reason to kind of unite us together and give us purpose.
And I think that if that's all that God is, then that's a good thing, as well, because it kind of keeps you driven.
