I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Julie Roberts
and I've been connected with CVGT for some time now.
So the confidence factor has been my main issue
because I lost my confidence and I did apply for a lot of jobs
prior to CVGT and I wasn't getting anywhere.
I don't know why, because I've still got a lot of skills to offer.
So...CVGT helped me update my skills and gain new
skills to broaden my job prospects.
And it's given me loads of confidence to push on finding
the most relevant and suitable jobs for my needs as
I'm older now and I have an injury.
There's some jobs I find that were difficult.
I found with CVGT that the personalised attention I
received built my confidence levels up to become...
or to be able to... I was able to express myself and tell
them of my frustrations prior to meeting with CVGT and...
they just gave me the confidence I needed to you know,
push forward and set goals and strive for those goals.
My resume needed to be updated and Kristina and I
worked through that together to update it,
to make it look very professional. And help me with cover
letters for those jobs as well. So that was brilliant.
And each time I felt they were just getting better and
better. And I was able to do them you know on my own
too. So, yeah, absolutely.
And I was able to come in sometimes and use the
computers systems when mine crashed at home.
So that was great as well.
