Ravelry is an online community for knitters and crocheters.
It currently has over 800,000 registered users.
Joining is easy and free.
A signup link will be sent to your email address.
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your user id on every page.
You can get help on the main page to get started.
These tabs lead to the main areas of the site.
The “my notebook” tab has lots of choices.
We’ll look at it in more detail in another episode.
You can investigate patterns.
You can find out about all kinds of yarn.
On the “people” page you can search for friends.
Ravelry has forums for discussion and help too.
You can join groups with like interests.
You can shop on Ravelry for patterns and many other things.
Help is just a click away.
Searching the site is easy.
Just click on the magnifying glass.
Don’t forget to log out when you’ve finished.
