I would like to tell you something about sports that are played in our city There are plenty of them... but I would like to focus on three of them
We will visit a climbing wall in a shopping centre. I will introduce you to my friend who is an ardent runner. He ran a marathon in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
And... I will take you to the stadium where our local football team, Jagiellonia Bialystok, plays
My name is Filip Potulinski.I have gone in for climbing for 4 years. For me, It is a good way of spending my free time and release emotions that have built up over the day
It gives me a lot of joy. Before, there weren't a lot of places to do this sport. Now there are new places, it's getting better.
Filip is scaling albo climbing a very high wall It is more than 9m high. Is he able to reach the top?
He's almost there. He has just reached his goal.
So now - the most pleasant part of climbing- descending (way down).
Hi, my name is Marcin and I live in Bialystok. I would like to tell you about my big passion, which is running.
I have been a long-distance runner for 7 years. I run three or four times a day covering 10-15 km.
I take part in competitions, which are organised in bigger cities in Poland, like Bialystok, Warsaw or even in Bialowieski National Park.
I have won a few medals for participation and reaching the finishing line. All of them are very important for me.
Two of them are made of wood. this one and that one.
The most important medal for me is the one for taking part in Warsaw Marathon - 42 km. This marathon has been held in the capital of Poland 35 times.
I have to say thatit is something that motivates me and gives me strength. I strongly recommend physical activity
.. whatever you like, it doesn't have to be running. It can be swimming, walking....
In a moment I will take you to a match of our team - Jagiellonia Bialystok. This team has played since 1920. Jagiellonia takes part in premier league in Poland(Ekstraklasa).
Jagiellonia Bialystok has taken part twice in the Polish cup competition. They have won once.. Once they won, so they could play in European League (UEFA).
I would like to say this team is really close to my heart.
It is said in our city that baby boys take yellow and red colours with their mother's milk (like team's colours).
We are in front of entrance to the Jagiellonia Stadium in Bialystok.
Right now we are in the stadium.
Half-time in the match. Red and yellow - Jagiellonia Bialystok colours.
Free kick.
In Jagiellonia team plays Alexis Norambueana. HE HAS PALESTINIAN NATIONALITY.
