So, the Holga takes medium format film, and it takes 120 film. It's important that it
only really takes 120, cause' there's a kind of film called 220 which has more exposures
on it, but which will not fit into your Holga camera. So, make sure that you get the 120.
In my hand, I have a roll of 120 KodakNC; a great roll of film, great film to use, and
I'm going to load it up. I'm going to tear off the band, I'm going to take out the leader;
the paper leader right there, and it just pops right in. Then I'm take that paper leader,
and I'm going to drag it across the shutter area, and it's really, it's kind of easy.
But it's very easy for the leader to slip out while you're loading this camera, so I
really make sure that that paper is going across. And if it's not going across, sometimes
I'll even take a little bit of tape, back to my electric tape again, and I'll tape the
leader to the take-up spool.
