What kind of answers does the i30 gives to the expectations?

When you survey it from the profile, due to the ascending shoulder line it is obvious that the i30 appears to look more sportive.
The most remarkable detail in the distinctive rear end design of the car is the rear view camera, which is hidden under the Hyundai logo.

The interior of the i30 appears to be modern and of high quality as its exterior.
The materials used here satisfy the expectations of this class. The design looks pleasing to the eye.
My friends that have driven with me told me that they have really liked the interior very much.
In the front lots of places are offered for your small items.
Two sections in front of the gear lever and two cup holders behind it and wide armrest are some of them.
Besides the door bins are fairly large for this class of car.
As a matter of living space the front is trouble free.
At the rear good knee room and sufficient headroom is offered.
Moreover because there is no transmission tunnel the third adult can sit here in comfort.

Let’s come to the driving features of the i30.
In this car that I am driving 1.6 liter turbo charged diesel engine is functioning.
This engine develops 128 HP and 260 Nm of torque.
You can buy it if you wish with 6 speed manual gearbox or 6 speed automatic gearbox.
In the test car 6 speed automatic gearbox is functioning.
The performance of the engine is good but when you consider the figures given you do not feel it offers you that much.
Because here unfortunately gearbox with 6 speeds classical torque convertor gives a bit negative effect.
But nevertheless the engine does not cause any problem to reach high speeds. Of course you have to be a bit patient.
In general I can say that the suspensions of the i30 are comfortable.
It does not let you down in handling either. Of course, I think the new steering system has a share in this.
The steering system that can be chosen with 3 alternatives as Comfort, Normal and Sport brings distinct dynamism to the i30’s handling.
If you are driving in the city to choose the Comfort is good for softness
but if you wish to drive fast, for example on the highway, to choose the Sport is most logical.
However, it does not matter, whichever mode you choose, the reactions of the steering, in my opinion, are a bit artificial.
Let’s come to the fuel consumption values that you have been waiting impatiently.
I have been with this car for a week and have driven 1750 km’s. I escape to Çeşme from İstanbul for a short holiday.
You can more or less figure out from my tanned skin that I have been swimming and sun bathing.
During this trip the computer indicated 7.0 liter fuel consumption average.
For a 1.6 liter diesel engine this value is not low but in my opinion an acceptable nevertheless.
Most of the distance covered was outside the city therefore I have to point out that
when city driving is increased the i30’s fuel consumption may reach 7.5 liters.
The Hyundai i30 achieves to offer diesel engine and automatic gearbox combination which is the most desired combination in our country
with comfortable driving features and material quality equal to the Europeans.
5 years guarantee and many options alternatives are its strong points.
When you add up all these together I can say that the i30 satisfy the expectations substantially.
