If someday I'd be able to move, I'd surely try to sit on this bed.
And when I'll sit, I'd definitely try to stand.
And then I'd try to run, but the truth is- I hope to fall,
so that the hard impact from the floor will hurt me,
and then maybe I'd be able to feel my body again.
In July 2008 I was diagnosed with Guillain–Barre syndrome
that in the course of 4 days left me paralyzed head to toe,
with no ability to move any part of my body.
One plastic tube that was hooked from my nose to my belly
was the source of the body's vitamins
and my only connection to the outside world.
Later I was released for rehabilitation which took 6 months
There we learned how to stand,
to walk, to talk, to eat and to swallow- everything from scratch.
about a month before I was released I decided to go back to record an album.
It was important for me to tell my story through that album.
"Sorrow Demons, Joy Blizzards"
is the name of the album, the name of the show,
It is a string of thoughts, diaries, and oaths,
which go through the mind of a person who can't move any part of his body.
"Sorrow Demons, Joy Blizzards"
is my story, a story written in blood.
