A Major Art Update has been showcased in SMITE, Warhammer 40K to include 1,000 player PvP,
Battle dot nets desktop launcher open beta announced and war thunder is now available
on steam. All that and more with a busy MMO news days on the Daily XP.
Hi-Rez Studios just released a new video that showcases the complete graphic overhaul of
the conquest map. The layout and the general design remain unchained, but practically every
area has been re-skinned with new, more detailed textures. The Phoenix, Minotaur and Fire Giant
have also been treated to a new makeover. A couple of the other updates in the patch
include new looks for Ra and Anubis and changes to the spectator modes.
Behaviour Interactive, the developers behind the recently announced Warhammer 40K Eternal
Crusade, today announced a partnership with MuchDifferent, a leader in game network technologies.
This may not mean much to the average player, but since the game will be support with the
PikkoServer technology, it's quite possible that Warhammer 40K could potentially rival
PlanetSide 2 in terms of the scope and size of the PvP skirmishes. Which could be pretty
cool.
Blizzard Revealed an exciting new update for fans of battle dot net with the announcement
of the open beta for their desktop app. The app is designed to streamline the user experience,
giving player the opportunity to access their favorite games in entirely new ways. The open
beta is available now on their website but is still missing some features. So basically
what we have is sort of a Steam mass updater for Blizzard Games.
Speaking of Steam, War Thunder is available today on the popular game network. Although
the game already has more than 3 million players in its open beta, gaining access to the Steam
community will surely increase those numbers. Included with the launch on Steam Gaijin Entertainment
released a special content pack called the War Thunder Steam pack, it includes two premium
airplanes, two single player campaigns a premium account for 30 days and more.
And lastly Ronimo Games just announced that their awesome side-scrolling MOBA Awesomenauts
will be coming to PlayStation 4. While its not known whether the game will be available
