Hi, and welcome to Holyrood PR TV.
We've had another busy month starting work for our newest client; how angry brides make
great viral blog posts;and we've been watching the latest moves in the tech and web sectors.
Let’s give a warm Holyrood PR welcome to our newest client - the chocolate and ice
cream makers, Mackie's of Scotland. We're looking forward to promoting the family
firm's Sky to Scoop philosophy, as we showcase its new products, like the newly released
Sicilian Lemon & Meringue and Scottish Tablet ice creams.
All while stuffing ourselves silly in the process...We hope!
We spotted a story worth analysing after wedding services at Balgonie Castle was almost ruined
overnight after a horde of angry brides laid siege on social media.
The venue’s wedding coordinator took to social media to rant about the clientele,
and soon discovered that referring to anxious brides-to-be as "Bridezillas" was not a good
idea. You don’t have to worry about this happening
to you, because you can read our blog post to learn how to deal with difficult clients
in an appropriate way.
If you're not already following our blog, then do yourself a favour and check it out

One of our favourite changes this month in social media, is the official release for
live streaming on Facebook. Facebook Live rolled out to all users which
means anyone can now broadcast live to their audiences direct from a smart phone. In fact,
we are live streaming this episode, so hello if you are watching in real time.
This has great advantages for many businesses and could also provide a nice PR boost - if
your business is interested, get in touch.
That's all for this month! Thanks for watching and we will be back next month with more of
the latest news on the busy world of PR. Don’t forget to subscribe to the channel for more
new videos. I’ll see you next time on HPR TV.
Check out the full video on our social media channels later this week, we'll have some
fantastic screengrabs of coverage, examples of terrible social strategy and some useful
links for you and your business.
