Hi. I'm Doctor Candace Robinson, Clinical Director of the Audiology Program here at Towson University.
I'm standing in front of the new Towson City Center which houses our new Institute for Well Being.
Our audiology students are trained on state-of-the-art equipment in our center,
and I'd love to come show you around.
if you're looking for superb training
to be ready to serve in the audiological field, Towson University's Au.D. Program is for you.
I'm sitting here in the new Institute for Well Being in one of our new
state-of-the-art booths, here. Here we have manual and computer-based audiology equipment
to assesse children and adults of all ages. Some of our services include
auditory processing evaluations, tinnitus and hyperacusis evaluations,
as well as hearing aid fitting and vestibular analysis and treatment.
On campus, you'll get to go through four clinical practicum rotations where you
are supervised side by side by one of our
ten fabulous faculty, who are licensed and certified audiologists. They also serve
out in the community, brining their expertise here to you, so that you, together, can
use evidence-based practice techniques to serve those patients needs in their
surrounding communities.
I would be very happy to talk to you that any questions that you might have
about a program. So, please contact me and I look forward to hearing from you.
