So also another option that we've gone over before but I'll go over again is instead of
a randomly torn piece, such as the randomly cut piece, you have a specific shape that
you want to achieve but them when you're cutting it isn't the cut clean edges isn't exactly
what I'm looking for. If you're measuring out your shape and you decide most likely
this works better in a geometric standard straight line shape for this type of effect
I'm going for here. If you want to sort of get this shape out of your piece, the best
way to do that is to make the lines and edges that you want holding your very strong ruler
down. You can lift up the piece ripping it itself by creating the edge. A lot of artists
tend to do this if they want a torn edge on their larger piece of drawing paper that their
working with and it's a good way to rip paper across without necessarily needing to. Move
that piece out of the way. You can have the whole piece and you just give it a nice tug
as you're working towards you because then that way you're achieving a nice clean edge
but also a ripped edge and torn edge for that effect as well.
