Alright let’s go ahead and dive right in to the Handbook Client, showing you some completed Handbooks.
On the iPad, start by opening up the Handbook Client app.
If you need to add a new keycode from a newly created Handbook, just tap the cog icon to open up the preferences
tap keycodes
add keycode
and then type in the keycode.
Then tap the book icon to return to the main screen and the new Handbook should now be viewable.
So, I’m going to show you some real examples, from my life. This is what I use Handbook for.
I manage two sales team, one real and one fictional, as you will soon see.
Tap a Handbook once to open it to view the content.
You can see the three files added. Tap the one you’d like to view.
This is a sales dashboard I created using my favorite BI tool.
It’s automatically updated to Handbook daily with new numbers
which goes out to all my sales managers.
I can zoom in and find particular points of interest.
Can you tell if this is my real sales team or fictional team?
To return to the document area,
click anywhere on the bottom of the screen to bring up the preferences at the top and tap the back button.
Then click the book list.
Back on my main screen, I can view other created Handbooks.
For example, my chic best friend created a fashion Handbook that she showed me at lunch last week.
I can choose the type of attire based on the situation.
I’m going to check out Business Wear.
Tapping the first tube dress,
I can then customize it by color.
I'm going to return back to the main menu.
Finally, let’s look at some real sales metrics from my actual sales team.
This is just a basic Pipeline chart that details the Pipeline vs. Proposals vs. the Quantity sold.
I can use the key to highlight various areas.
I can take out the quantity sold.
Add it back in.
Let's just say I want to look at the proposals vs. Quantity sold.
Well, I can then remove the pipeline.
And then if I want, I can just add it right back in.
So, I use Handbook for a variety of uses,
housing documents in a secure environment that I can access online and offline.
It fits right in with my multitasking lifestyle.
What would you use Handbook for?
Presentations. Analytics. Picture albums. Sales demos. Mobile CRM.
Perhaps a better question is – What wouldn’t you use Handbook for?
So, in the next video I’ll show how to create a Handbook and populate it with assets.
Alright, thanks for watching.
