In this tutorial I am going to show you how you can customize your interface.
Follow me up to the upper right hand corner to screen options
and click the arrow next to it to pull down the drop down window.
As you can see, you have many show on screen options they are excluded pages, attributes,
custom fields,
discussion, page slug, page author, and page revision.
The check marks next to each
option allow you to choose
whether or not you want to display it on your page.
So if I uncheck exclude pages,
that option is no longer on the page.
Again, if I unclick attributes you can see that
the attribute box disappears.
So that's an easy way you can customize your interface. If you just and the text editing box
to appear which is always there
and you can turn it off
uncheck all of them but if you don't mind them being there and you use them
leave them checked.
The screen layout
allows the number of columns you want on your page.
I have chosen two
for my pages
but it can just one column.
That'll turn
your page into one column and then all
the items that are
options on the
2nd column will move down below
with all these other ones down here. Ok
let me show you how you can rearrange your page
by simply clicking on the box and dragging it with your mouse.
You can put it into the second column
or you can put it in the first column.
You can move things around
pretty easily just by clicking and dragging your mouse.
It's as simple as that.
It's pretty easy to customize your interface. I hope this tutorial was
of help to you to
teach you how you can
do so.
Thank you so much for watching this tutorial and I look forward to seeing you in the next one.
