They called me before Juma. While I was going to Tripoli
they took me around to some markets.
I was shocked by what I saw of the destruction.
What happened to the people in all the destruction.
And I asked
who is profiting
from these actions, is Palestine profiting?
The Maronites, the Sunnis are they profiting?
The Shias are profiting? The West, the Armenians, the Turks are they profiting?
Who is profiting from this? G: Israel. M: No one except shaytan.
shaytan says "I destroyed it on top of them."
People are not thinking anymore.
The Hanbaliya. I don't think the Syrians are winning
because although so many souls are gone
from here, they also lost from their army and civilians also.
We have a saying, "if someone enters between two people
fighting, he may be injured or killed also."
He may be harmed or injured,
the one who went inbetween
took his share also. I heard that.
I was listening to Sayyidi S. Abdullah Ad Daghastani,
he used to say that the Prophet, alaihis-salatu was-salam,
used to say "at the end of times people, groups of people,
will fight each other, in the villages and cities."
Each country will fight
among themselves. They will not fight others,
they will leave off fighting others,
and they will fight among themselves.
Here they are 17 years in war.
Sadaqa Rasulullah. This war is civil war -
The people of the same nation fighting each other.
And their gain was blood.
Does this make sense? I am sorry for the Lebanese people.
How Lebanon used to be! Now I can't believe,
I can't believe how it is. It is like a dream.
For what is all this? For what?
They have no mind these people, Subhan'Allah!
This happened here. Iraq they
destroyed themselves, because
of their leader has no mind. One man, because of
one man, difficulty entered from outside.
Iran is also like that, Afghans are also like that.
And the Turks are fighting each other and therefore ..
G: How do the Turks fight each other?
M: Because of the Kurds.
There was an explosion, fire, that caused it.
In every country where there was an uprising
2 sides were formed coming against each other.
The war increased.
There is not
one country
where the people
are content or at peace.
Pakistan I visited it, is also like that.
Malaysia I visited and it is like this. Sri Lanka is the same. I went there
a few months ago.
G: There is a big group of Naqshbandis in Sri Lanka, is that true?
M: In every land there are millions of people
from the Naqshbandis.
They do not interfere.
Actually our Tariqa forbids
interfering in the fight,
of course. "Wa ufawwidu amri illa Llah,
In Allaha Basirun Bil-'Ibad." (dua)
We entrust all our affairs to the Owner of all affairs - and to Allah
are all the affairs from their beginning to their end.
The adab of the Tariqa is,
if a calamity descends
we must be patient until Allah removes it.
The skies are cloudy.
Can people clear the sky?
Can they bring the sun? No.
The same when
sorrow and war take over the country. Wa malahum kashif ila Llah -
there is no one who can remove it except Allah.
When Allah Wills, He will take it away.
And therefore when favors are granted you
it is necessary for the believer to be thankful to his Lord.
And in adversity it is necessary for us to be patient.
It is not possible for anyone to change the situation. "Inna
Allaha la yughayyiru ma biqawmin hatta yughayyiru ma bi'anfusihim."(13:11)
When people change their ways,
their actions, their ways,
only then will Allah change their state.
If people remain the same,
their state will not change.
There are trees
of coconuts. It gives its fruit
and once you collect its fruit
the tree prepares to give again.
When a calamity is removed from a place
and its people don't take wisdom,
if they do not learn their lesson,
if they are not accept discipline,
then a second hardship comes to them
like the first or worse.
Therefore it is obligatory for the people of that country
to take wisdom
from the calamities they experience
and repent. The meaning of repenting is that they leave
what caused the bloodshed.
If they don't leave it the same thing will happen again.
Very few take wisdom from hardship. People quickly
forget what took place.
G: Mawlana did you notice any improvement in Lebanon? Did you notice
any change in people's egos? Before the war and after? M: You know best.
I didn't see. "Wa qalilun min 'ibadiya sh-shakuru"(34:13)
There are few thanking but many complaining.
Al-Hamdulillah when I came here
I thanked my Lord that there is peace established
and that the government is showing its full power -
meaning its power is visible.
Not like at the beginning when it had no power,
the Lebanese government. Now I am happy
and content that the Lebanese army
has appeared.
Last night ...
I am here for 15 day and I did not see it
but last night I saw
the tanks of the army at every checkpoint, they told me that they are
are spread all over. The Lebanese army in Lebanon. I felt proud
and I sensed
the contentment
due to there being a solid authority in the country.
Because it is the lack of authority in a the country that causes what happened.
In the past if there was for example a fire station,
when a fire starts, it would come
quickly & put it out. But this was not possible before.
The first mistake was the authorities left it open
for any young man to come in,
the men of the country,
to come in and set himself up.
Now there is an authority here, I feel there is authority,
there is an army with power. They are
displaying their power at every checkpoint. Masha'Allah the tanks.
I did not see this before, it is new.
Whether they bought it or it was given to them-
whatever, Alhamdulillah & our hope
that within this year it may be better.
The people of Lebanon have
finished with this era of destruction and hardship.
Now it is for the turn of the others
the rest of them, the rest of the countries.
We seek refuge in Allah. I always pray to protect our youngsters,
to always keep our boys safe,
for the sake of our elders. Have mercy on,
mercy on our weaknesses, mercy on our youngsters
that they don't have hardship any more. What those idiots,
no mind people, have done to us
Ya Rabbi may it be their turn to go through hardship, not us.
May it go on them & stay on them. May it be their turn not ours.
This dua I never leave it. The zalims/
oppressors may Allah make it their turn. All of the
oppressors, may it be their turn. "Oppression cannot
continue because if it does it will wipe out everything.(Hadith)
Wa Min Allahi at-Tawfiq, Bi Hurmati-l Fatiha.
