Hello, I'm Ian and here are today's headlines from Pinksixty,
A survey by travel company, FurtherAfield has shown that the British gay tourist
takes an average of seven breaks each year, despite the recession.
The majority are short breaks but we also take two long holidays a year.
A privately funded Christian university in Georgia is to make all 200 staff sign
a document stating they are not gay.
The declaration also requires staff to reject pre-marital sex and adultery,
under threat of dismissal.
Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd has recorded a message of support on
the 'It Gets Better' website.
He joins a host of world leaders, politicians and celebrities who have posted personal video
messages to combat bullying.
Malaysia's only gay pride festival returns from November 9th to 13th under the banner
'*** Withour Fear'.
Events include seminars, book launches, exhibitions, workshops and a drag workshop
called 'Fierce and Fabulous'.
And finally, Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia are to open a vegan restaurant
on Ventura Boulevard in LA.
The pair are both vegans and have joined The Pretenders' Chrissy Hynde
and producer Steve Bing to bring the celebrity fronted venture to life.
