[Trayce Hutchins]: In today's positively Georgia segment, ask any woman and she'll probably
tell you there's just a few areas she'd like to change. Well one well-deserving metro Atlanta
woman is getting that chance for a makeover because of all the volunteer work that she
does.
[Tima Aimbez]: I've always had a – I'll call it a “muffin top” (laughter). So
today I said I'm going to go give birth to my muffin top.
[Trayce Hutchins]: It's the opportunity of a lifetime for Tima Aimbez and it's just the
beginning of her total makeover. With her petite core tin frame, Tima has had to worry
about that meddlesome middle section, but today it will be melted away with SmartLipo.
[Tima Aimbez]: With my height, kinda you know, 5 pounds makes a difference so this will be
a nice jump start to the new me.
[Trayce Hutchins]: Tima's new shape will be courtesy of Dr. Jay Kulkin, laser expert and
Founder of Women's Institute for Health – a gift for her work with Jaden's Ladder, a non-profit
organization that helps survivors of domestic violence.
[Dr. Jay Kulkin]: Tima is a volunteer. She's not paid, and she impacts the lives of so
many women at Jaden's Ladder that she just seemed to be the perfect person to have – to
get this. I couldn't think of anyone better.
[Tima Aimbez]: So I'm really excited that he's going to be able to do this for me because,
you know, I wouldn't be able to afford it.
[Trayce Hutchins]: Yeah, Tima is so excited about her new figure. Now in a few weeks we'll
show you the results of her makeover. We put a link to Dr. Kulkin's website and a link
to Jaden's Ladder for more on how they help the community. You can find those both on
the Better Morning's Atlanta page. Just go to our homepage and look for this big blue
bar right here, scroll over to better, then Better Morning's Atlanta. Look for the page
that says Links Mentioned on the Show and it will take you to this page here. Scroll
down to Wednesday and you can find both of those links. As always, if you hear about
a great story that's Positively Georgia, tell us about it and we could share it on the air.
