How to Throw a Pooch Pawty in 8 easy steps!
Whether you’re celebrating a new addition to the family,
your furry friend’s bruffday or
even dog friendly company event,
here’s some tips to throwing a great paw-ty
that your 2 and 4-legged guest will enjoy!
Party Size and Location
Dogs can take up a good amount of space so make sure that you’ve got plenty of room for them to run and play.
If you’re house or yard is too small for your guest list,
consider a local dog park. This way there will be plenty of room
for the dogs & their owners to have fun!
Invitations
Invites are great for the what, when, where information
but they also introduce your guest to the idea of a puppy pawty.
This is a good way to inform them if it’s humans only
or if their furry friends are welcome too!
Decorations & Music
Adding some decorations will really help to make your party Paw-some!
Banners, Balloons & themed placemats
help to add the perfect splash of color to your party.
Just remember to arrange place settings
for people and pooches.
Another fun thing to do is play some Tail-wagging tunes to help set the stage for your puppy party.

Games and Activities
Having some activities and games can be fun
for the dogs and their owners.
Try a few rounds of Lucky Dog Musical Chairs,
organize a Tricks Talent Show or
set up a photo booth for all to enjoy.
It's even a great idea to have some balls and
chew toys for the dogs to play with.
Treats and food for all
Make sure that you have goodies for all of you different guest and
remember to accurately mark who the treats are intend for.
Provide dog-themed food for your 2-legged guest such as
puppy chow, pupcorn or pupcakes.
Have a bowl of water for thirsty pups when they arrive
and provide water in multiple locations.
Try baking a dog friendly puppy cake.
It’s a treat for all the dogs to share and
it doubles as a great centerpiece.
Pawty In-Style
Make sure you furry friends are dressed to impress at the party.
Try dog party hats,
color coordinated bandanas and these themed
bowties to get the pups ready to party in style!
Be Prepared
Accidents are possible and likely to happen
so be prepared with doggy waste bags, carpet cleaning spray
and lots of paper towel to clean up any unexpected messes.
Lint rollers also work great to help pick up any
loose hair your furry friends may leave behind.
Have Fun.
This is the most important step.
Keep a camera on hand to capture those priceless moments
that can only happen at a puppy party
and remember to relax & enjoy the company
of your friends, family and furry pals.
